Storm's photography partner Andrew Trenoweth from KHK Media has put together a special book commemorating five years of Storm's first ever junior team called "One Vision: A Photographic History of the Storm Hurricanes".
The book features photographs from Hurricanes matches including the South West U16 League and the thrilling game against the Wales U15 National Team in Cardiff earlier this year.
The Hurricanes were the first team of players who joined the club when Storm first started its junior section and have this season graduated into full Senior players.
Alongside the photos are memories from the Hurricanes players.
This is just one of them from team Captain Beth Thomas:
"I feel like the most privileged person ever to have been the captain of the Hurricanes. The bond we have as a team, both on and off the court, is very special and something that I know I will treasure for the rest of my life.
It's unbelievable to think how much we have developed and improved, as a team and individually, since we first started. We would never have achieved our full potential if it wasn't for David - his help, strength, determination and belief in us is what has made us the team that we are today. The games that we could have so easily lost were turned around after having one of his inspirational team talks.
We have created first class memories, whether they are heart stopping matches, fantastic road trips or games where we have played exceptionally well as a team, they will never be forgotten by anyone. The Hurricanes have gone from strength to strength and have built up a special relationaship that will never be replaced and one that I am very proud of."
The book is available through KHK Media and you can contact Andrew for more information through our contact page. |
